How long does advanced driver assistance system ADAS calibration take?

Windshield ADAS calibration process typically takes about 30 to 45 minutes. It can be completed during the same visit as your windshield replacement. Lake Auto Glass uses a process called dynamic calibration, which requires the technician to drive the vehicle to calibrate the camera. There is a waiting period of 30 minutes for the windshield to set before the calibration process can begin.

Some car manufactures do not recommend using these aftermarket windshield and ADAS aftermarket calibration tools .If your vehicle require OEM windshield and ADAS calibration by vehicle manufacture self-proprietary specialized software to be used. We suggest coordinating this work to be done by your local car dealer or an OEM calibration company after the windshield replacement.
